Job summary

Rosen Hotels & Resorts in Orlando, FL is hiring for a Laundry Service Washperson. You will load linen into industrial washers, monitor machines, and stage finished articles for storage. You will ensure proper weights, drying, and orderly storage across a high-volume operation.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift 250–500 lb bins, and compliance with safety and company policies. Experience preferred but not required for all shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of previous laundry experience preferred.
• Must be able to push and/or pull laundry bins weighing 250 lbs. to 500 lbs. when loaded with linen.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a hot environment.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Loads articles into washer at the proper established weights.
• Program and set the washer with the proper formula.
• All laundry equipment must be constantly monitored.
• Wash and dry articles according to identification numbers or type.
• Stage and place wash and dried articles in appropriate storage area for processing.
• Wash aisles and related areas are to remain free of debris and clutter.
• Follow appropriate wash schedule ensuring a constant linen flow to all areas.
• Use proper lifting and pulling technique when loading and unloading washers and dryers.
• Operate tunnel and maintain production goals of 25-30 transfers per hour equaling 3,000 pounds per hour.
• Participates in pre shift stretching warmups.
• Uphold the company's drug-free, tobacco-free, and nicotine-free policies within the workplace
• All other duties as assigned
