Job summary

Double Tree Bloomington Minneapolis South is seeking a friendly Laundry Attendant to support the housekeeping team. You will manage linen processing, maintain a clean laundry area, oversee inventory, and assist with guest requests to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience.

The role operates 24/7 with rotating shifts; reliable transportation and on-site work are required. Candidates must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States. Union benefits and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must report to work on time.
• Must be present and able to work all shifts on-site.
• Must have open availability Monday-Sunday and be available to work weekends.
• Must be able to work the necessary hours and rotating schedule to meet the operational needs of the business, including days, nights, holidays and key events.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be currently eligible to work in the United States and able to present required identity and employment authorization documents on day one.

Responsibilities

• Keep linens clean and ready: Handle all stages of linen processing, including collecting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering clean linens
• Maintain the laundry area: Keep laundry machines and work areas clean and in good working order
• Manage inventory: Monitor and maintain stock levels of linens and laundry supplies
• Support equipment and property maintenance: Identify and report any repair needs or maintenance deficiencies to ensure a well-kept property
• Ensure an orderly workspace: Keep all designated areas clean, neat, and organized, including assigned offices, desks, supply rooms, and storage carts to ensure efficient hotel operations
• Delight our guests: Respond courteously to guest requests, prepare requested items, and resolve laundry and housekeeping service requests promptly
• Handle special projects: Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as needed or required by brand standards
