Job summary

Residence Inn Austin University is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage linen processing, washing, folding, stocking, and delivery across hotel departments. You will maintain clean back-of-house areas and support guest services with a positive, can-do attitude.

As part of a hospitality team, you will operate wash/dry cycles, ensure inventory accuracy, handle chemicals safely, and collaborate to meet cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction targets in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or guest service preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a hotel environment.
• Effective listening and conflict-resolution skills.
• Desire to serve guests and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Linen Processing: collects, transports, sorts, weighs, loads/unloads washers and dryers, folds and delivers.
• Linen Cleaning and Folding: wash/dry dirty linens, stock linen carts and shelves.
• Equipment Operation: operate washing machines, dryers and maintain equipment.
• Laundry Facility Cleanliness: sweep/mop floors, keep back-of-house areas organized.
• Chemical Management: replace and replenish cleaning chemicals.
