Job summary

Dartcor Hospitality in Whippany, NJ is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support high-volume commissary operations. You will wash dishes, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and office spaces, and assist with light prep as needed.

This full-time on-site role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strict adherence to health and safety standards. We offer competitive pay and benefits including insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in dishwashing, janitorial, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness.
• Strong attention to detail in all cleaning tasks, particularly washing and organizing dishes.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable transportation daily.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment and sanitize them.
• Put away dishes after washing and drying in cabinets, shelves, and drawers.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness on kitchen floors.
• Clean kitchen surfaces, counters, sinks, and stoves regularly.
• Empty kitchen trash and dispose of waste per procedures.
• Monitor dishwashing supplies and equipment and report issues to management.
• May assist with light prep tasks with the commissary team.
• Clean bathrooms and office spaces, restock supplies, and maintain a tidy environment.
• Follow hygiene standards and use PPE when handling cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance issues to management for repairs.
