Qualifications

• 0–2 years related experience
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort guests to tables
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly
• Delivers menus and kid packs when seating guests
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean
• Practices safe food and beverage handling
• Communicates and interacts with guests, can handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait
• Shows guests you care and asks about their dining experience
• Handles cash and credit transactions; accounts for all receivables including cash, credit cards, and gift cards
• Assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling
• Clears, sanitizes, and sets tables as needed
• Perform essential duties with dependability and teamwork
