Job summary

Heritage at Irene Woods is seeking a hospitality‑focused Maintenance Tech to oversee the care and maintenance of the community’s physical plant, including a preventive maintenance program. You will respond to service requests and ensure all equipment runs safely and reliably.

The role emphasizes exceptional hospitality, adherence to policies, and teamwork in a senior living community. Minimum high school diploma required; associate degree preferred; HVAC experience desired.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Associates Degree or equivalent in relevant education, training and experience.
• Maintenance supervisor experience (preferred).
• HVAC (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide residents and staff with a timely and effective response to service requests.
• Ensure all equipment and systems function properly and safely. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations/ordinances.
• Maintain proper level of service repair parts for electrical, plumbing, laundry, lighting, refrigeration, HVAC, hardware, locks, batteries, tools, expendable supplies, emergency telephone and security equipment based on past and expected usage. Maintain and adjust computerized controls for HVAC and other equipment as necessary.
