Job summary

Applebee’s Restaurant Matteson IL is seeking a friendly server to provide professional, attentive service for lunch and dinner. You will greet guests, take orders, enter into the POS, and ensure timely delivery while upholding menu knowledge and service standards.

Shifts run from 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM; flexible availability including weekends and holidays is required. Compensation is $9.25 per hour plus tips, with benefits such as 401(k), employee discounts, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred.
• Hotel or hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide attentive table service.
• Explain menu items, ingredients, and promotions clearly.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately and promptly.
• Deliver food and beverages timely and correctly.
• Maintain table cleanliness and restaurant presentation.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service.
