Job summary

Porters Neck Village in Wilmington, NC is seeking a hospitality-focused Nurse Manager to provide direct nursing care and supervise licensed nurses. The role emphasizes compassionate resident-centered care and coordinating services.

You will administer medications, support admissions, and lead staff scheduling to ensure regulatory compliance. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative team in a warm, hospitality-driven community.

Qualifications

Must have LPN/LVN nursing degree and active license
Current AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year nursing experience in long-term care preferred

Responsibilities

Document resident status per policy.
Provide daily supervision to assigned staff and directly provide nursing care to residents as assigned.
Scheduling of staff and secure replacement staff for absences to maintain regulatory compliance.
Participate in the admission of new residents.
Assist residents with ADLs and promote independent living.
Identify resident medical/behavioral changes and develop/monitor care plans and re-assess each resident.
Provide daily report to the Director of Health & Wellness Navigation concerning facility conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
