The Mather in Evanston, IL is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Floater to join a resident-centered team focused on hospitality and wellness. This role supports cleaning, linen changes, laundry, and room turnovers across Life Centre and public spaces, with daily interactions with residents, guests, and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow instructions to complete routine tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks which provide and maintain the cleanliness and safety of resident rooms/homes and common areas.
• Operates cleaning equipment (mechanical and electrical) and maintains a stocked housekeeping cart.
• Changes bed linens according to established standards.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with housekeeping management.
• Notifies supervisor when supplies are low and demonstrates responsibility for supplies, chemicals, equipment, and utilities.
• Identifies areas for improvement and participates in QA process improvements.
