Job summary

Gardner Builders is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from initiation through closeout in the Milwaukee market. You will liaise with clients, designers, and trade partners, orchestrating schedules, budgets, and quality standards while mentoring junior team members.

You should bring 3+ years of project management experience, a Bachelor’s in construction management, and strong skills in Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction project management experience or similar.
• Strong financial acumen for cost forecasting and reporting.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate between clients, designers, trade partners, and internal team.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, contracts, and trade partner coordination.
• Manage bidding, estimating, change orders, pay applications, and invoicing.
• Maintain transparent client and stakeholder communication.
• Mentor project engineers and superintendents.
