Job summary

Talbots in Amarillo, TX is seeking a part-time sales associate to create exceptional customer experiences and build lasting relationships with clientele. You will support service initiatives, share fashion knowledge, and drive sales while working a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

This role requires hospitality, teamwork, and the ability to stand for extended periods, with a focus on delivering the Talbots brand experience to every customer.

Qualifications

• Must be available at least 20 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work cooperatively in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build enduring relationships.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including active use of Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas such as Clientelling/Outreach and appointments.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs.
• Share product knowledge and fashion trends to wardrobe customers effectively.
• Participate in community/store activities and events to promote the Talbots Brand.
• Occasionally lead/supervise others and open/close the store.
• Represent the brand image professionally.
