Job summary

Freedom Pointe at The Villages is seeking a Hospitality Coordinator to be the primary Food & Beverage contact for events and reservations. You will liaise with residents and dining staff, verify schedules, check deliveries, and handle administrative tasks for the dining department.

The role requires at least a High School diploma and a minimum of one year of Event Coordinator or Catering Manager experience in a fine dining or hotel setting, along with strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year Event Coordinator or Catering Manager experience in a fine restaurant, club, hotel, or similar venue.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Food & Beverage contact for special events and reservations.
• Act as liaison between residents and dining staff and coordinate communications.
• Verify management schedules, check deliveries, and complete dining department administrative tasks.
• Provide coverage for any area or station when dining staff are not scheduled.

Duties

The Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for being the primary Food & Beverage contact for special events and reservations. They are the liaison between the residents and dining staff. They verify management schedules, check deliveries, and completes administrative tasks for the dining department. Also provides coverage for any area/station in the absence of scheduled dining room staff.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• A minimum of one year Event Coordinator or Catering Manager experience with fine restaurant, club, hotel, or similar institution
• Strong Computer Skills
