Job summary

Morrison Living is hiring cashiers for full-time and part-time roles at Croasdaile Village Retirement Community in Durham, NC. Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 11:00 am – 8:00 pm; Sunday and Holidays, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Prior cashiering and hospitality experience required.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $15.50 per hour. Benefits and a supportive team environment are offered within Compass Group. You'll join a talented team delivering hospitality and culinary service in a retirement community setting.

Qualifications

• Prior cashiering and hospitality experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enters all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment; issues receipts to customers.
• Follows standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer is in compliance with overage/shortage standards.
• Keeps pastry case stocked.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensures compliance with all sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
