Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Whitney, NV is seeking a Busperson to assist servers and maintain spotless dining areas. You will ensure clean tables, proper setting, and attentive guest service throughout shifts.

The role requires physical stamina, strong communication, and reliable attendance in a fast-paced hotel environment. Responsibilities include delivering beverages, bussing tables, and supporting the team to sustain high service levels.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
• SNHD Food Handler's Card required.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Heavy work - lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently.
• Must be able to stand during the entire shift.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
• Attend hotel meetings and trainings as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers by delivering and refilling beverages and pre-bussing tables.
• Keep work areas clean and properly stocked for the shift.
• Clean and reset tables, china, glassware, and linens per standards.
• Break down trays of dishes and linen in the dishroom per guidelines.
• Provide service to guests when needed and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Maintain beverage levels on tables and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Answer phones courteously and efficiently when required.
• Support team members and uphold Highgate standards throughout the shift.
