Aramark in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with food preparation, service, and cleanliness. You will help the manager with daily reports, maintain sanitation, and provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include beverage preparation, food assembly, station cleanliness, and accurate waste disposal. OLCC certification is required where applicable; comfort with lifting and standing for long periods is expected.

  • Coordinate setup and breakdown of food/beverage stations as directed by management

Job Description

The Food Service Worker will assist the manager with food/meal preparation; maintain cash receipts and meal records. Assist manager in completing daily reports. Maintain high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of beverage items for the day and dating products. Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
  • Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies, and procedures
  • Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
  • Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal
  • Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down station designated by the manager.
  • Responsible for use of accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
  • Maintain daily temperature logs
  • Responsible for taking samples of all food items on the line prior to serving the customers.
  • Alert management and pull food items that do not meet quality expectations.Complete opening and closing station checklists
  • Ask customers about the quality of their service and handle any complaints while maintaining a positive attitude and smile.
  • Coordinate and assist in maintaining a clean workstation (including floors, work areas, equipment, walls)
  • Ensures that all work areas and serving utensils are cleaned and sanitized
  • Responsible for accurate disposal of waste from the service line
  • Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by cart.
  • Assist with daily safety observations and report safety hazards discovered in the location to management immediately
  • Crosstrain in areas as the need arises
  • Able to work in concessions, catering, and special events required by your manager
  • Perform task as requested by your manager on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basisCompletion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.
  • This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
