Job summary

Aramark Corporation is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with food and meal preparation, maintain records, and support daily reports. You will uphold high standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include beverage preparation, light prep, customer greeting, serving and running food, and ensuring proper waste disposal. OLCC certification is required, and you may work across concessions, catering, and events.

Qualifications

• Food Service Certificate as needed.
• Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Be able to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in preparation of beverage items for the day and dating products. Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner
• Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies, and procedures
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items, beverages, and add garnishments to ensure customer happiness and eye appeal
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down station designated by the manager.
• Responsible for use of accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs
• Responsible for taking samples of all food items on the line prior to serving the customers.
• Alert management and pull food items that do not meet quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists
• Ask customers about the quality of their service and handle any complaints while maintaining a positive attitude and smile.
• Coordinate and assist in maintaining a clean workstation (including floors, work areas, equipment, walls)
• Ensures that all work areas and serving utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Responsible for accurate disposal of waste from the service line
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by cart.
• Assist with daily safety observations and report safety hazards discovered in the location to management immediately
• Crosstrain in areas as the need arises
• Able to work in concessions, catering, and special events required by your manager
• Perform task as requested by your manager on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis
• Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.
