Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a breakfast attendant for the Fairfield Inn & Suites DuBois location. You will greet guests, prepare and replenish breakfast items, and maintain a clean, welcoming breakfast area.

Experience in guest service is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. A positive attitude and knowledge of food safety are valued as part of delivering guest-friendly service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year customer service experience.
• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and staff.

• Set up, service, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line and food items.

Responsibilities

Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area. Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, courteously and efficiently in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
• Food safety certification preferred.
