Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital, serving the Henrico, Parham and Retreat campuses, seeks a Food Service Worker I to manage cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies within the Food & Nutrition Department. The role requires adherence to safety and infection control standards and a commitment to patient and staff satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a High School credential and healthcare exposure, with ServSafe/food handler certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate/Equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare preferred.
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Utilizes systems to ensure patient safety and infection control practices.
• Adheres to department security & HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintains uniform and personal appearance standards.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker I will be a competent Support services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance management plan.

• Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.
• Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutrition’s uniform and personal appearance standards at all time
• Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient, customer & physician satisfaction goals.
• Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• High School Graduate\\Equivalent preferred
• 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferred
