Care New England Health System is seeking an Environmental Services/Housekeeping team member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across hospital areas. You will work with staff and patients, assist with transport of patients and specimens, and help ensure compliance with cleaning and disinfection standards.
The role requires interaction with multiple departments, adherence to policies, and support for patient care activities as needed.
Maintains a clean, safe, orderly and attractive environment throughout all Hospital departments, patient areas, offices, corridors, and or any hospital-controlled area following hospital cleaning and disinfection standards. Remove waste and linen, complete room cleaning discharges and daily cleaning, as well as terminally clean operating rooms. Housekeepers will also interact with staff and patients on a regular basis and will collaborate with other members of the environmental services department. This position may also be asked to assist the transport department by moving patients and specimens throughout the building.
