Job summary

Infinite Aged Care Pty Ltd is a fast-growing residential aged care provider with 30+ years of experience, operating across QLD, NSW, SA and VIC. We are seeking a motivated kitchen assistant to assist with food prep, plating and meal service in a busy commercial kitchen, delivering high-quality meals to residents.

You will work with our Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team, follow food safety and WHS procedures, and help set up dining areas for each service.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or commercial kitchen experience or strong interest to develop skills.
• Students planning Commercial Cookery studies to build practical skills.
• Strong communication, initiative and attention to detail.
• Reliable, adaptable team players with availability for shifts.

• Assist with food prep, plating, and meal service in a commercial kitchen.
• Support dietary needs, including texture‑modified and allergen‑aware meals.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen and dining cleanliness.

Join a fast‑paced commercial kitchen environment where you’ll build hands‑on skills in food preparation, plating, and kitchen operations. Working with our Chef Manager and Hotel Services Team, you’ll help deliver high‑quality meals that make a real difference in residents’ daily lives.

This role is a physical & fast paced with a lot of variety, you will do a lot of bending, squatting, lifting and pushing items to carry out your daily tasks safely. It is important you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues and our residents.

About You

• Hospitality or commercial kitchen experience (or a strong interest in developing these skills).
• Students completing or planning Commercial Cookery studies who want to build practical, hands‑on skills that directly support their training.
• Strong communication, initiative, and attention to detail skills.
• Reliable, adaptable team players who thrive in a busy kitchen environment and have the availability to support a variety of shifts.

NOT suitable for candidates studying personal care or nursing, as training and development focus exclusively on commercial cookery and kitchen operations.
