Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Hospitality Aide to provide concierge-style support to residents in skilled nursing facilities. This role helps with room upkeep, meal service support, and activities transportation, while staying non-clinical in scope.

The position requires enrollment in a CNA training class within 90 days and eventual state CNA certification within 6 months, with equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Department by helping push residents in wheelchairs to activities within the facility.

JOB PURPOSE:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 1.Make beds and provide supplemental support to housekeeping by keeping resident rooms neat and orderly.
2. 2.Assist CNAs by passing ice, passing out meal trays and by answering call lights. Hospitality Aide is not clinical and cannot feed a resident or provide any hands-on care.
3. 3.Assist Activities Department by pushing residents in wheelchairs to Activities within the healthcare center.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

• Must be enrolled in a CNA training class within 90 days of hire.
• Must be state certified as a CNA within 6 months of hire or employment will be terminated.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

High School Diploma or GED

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be willing and qualified to complete a state required Certified Nursing Assistant training class and pass certification exam.
