Job summary

Gilmer Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Hospitality Aide to support residents' daily care and keep the environment clean, safe, and welcoming.

The role covers non-clinical tasks for nursing, meal service, activities participation, laundry support, and adherence to safety policies.

If you are reliable, organized, patient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting, you will fit well.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing with non-clinical tasks: bed-making, passing water and ice, answering call lights, gathering supplies.
• Prepare, deliver, and clean up meals following dietary guidelines.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities and social programs.
• Keep rooms and common areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with resident laundry services as needed.
• Follow safety, compliance, and patient rights policies.
• Observe and promptly report concerns or safety issues.
• Perform additional non-clinical duties to support facility operations.

Your Impact as a Hospitality Aide

• Support Nursing Services (Non-Clinical): Assist the nursing department with non-nursing tasks, including bed-making, passing water and ice, answering call lights, and gathering supplies.
• Assist with Meals: Prepare,deliver, and clean upmeals following dietary guidelines and safety standards.
• Encourage Participation: Support a positive living environment by encouraging residents to engage in activities and social programs.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep resident rooms andcommon areasclean, organized, and safe.
• Provide Laundry Assistance: Assistwith resident laundry services as needed.
• Follow Safety & Compliance Standards: Comply withthe Patient Bill of Rights, Employee Responsibilities, and all company and departmental safety policies and procedures.
• Observeand Report: Identifyand promptly report concerns, safety issues, or conditions requiring management or nursingattention.
• Assistas Needed: Performadditionalnon-clinicalduties to supportdailyfacility operations.
