Job summary

The Ground in Carlton, Oregon seeks an Administrative Assistant, Hospitality & Connection to provide day-to-day support to the Director of Hospitality & Connection. This on-site role supports catering, events, restaurant operations, farm product sales, and retreat programming.

Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and detail-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism across leadership and teams.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of administrative/office coordination experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail; ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to take initiative within defined tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare documents and agendas, organize files.
• Sales & Operations Support: prepare event paperwork, invoices, maintain records, assist with catering/event tasks.
• Retreat & Hospitality Support: assist with registrations, participant communications, and materials; coordinate hospitality details.
