Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a senior accounting leader in Charlotte, NC to manage daily accounting operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a centralized environment.

The role supports budget development, month-end close, tax filings, and cross-department collaboration. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 with a 10% target bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Competenze

• BA/BS in Accounting and/or Business.
• Two to five years supervisory experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area.
• Experience with HOAs and commercial real estate is a plus.
• PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Mansioni

• Assist the Director of Finance with the budget, strategic plan, and goals.
• Perform month-end closing, reconcile income, and prepare reports for management review.
• Manage daily accounting activities and supervise accounting staff.
• Input general ledger entries and ensure timely postings in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare tax reconciliations, payments, and filings; maintain records.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports; conduct financial analysis and forecasting.
