Job summary

SoCal Hospitalists is seeking a full-time nocturnist to join our physician-led hospital medicine team in Long Beach, CA. You will cover overnight shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, admit from the ED, cross-cover the service, respond to clinical changes, and hand off in the morning.

The schedule is 5 nights on, 10 off with 10–14 shifts per month. Optional teaching with internal medicine residents through our GME service is available, and you’ll work with clinicians who value autonomy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Active California medical license and DEA.
• Comfortable managing overnight admissions, rapid responses and ICU-level patients independently.

SoCal Hospitalists is a physician-owned, physician-led hospital medicine group serving an acute-care hospital in Long Beach. We are adding a full-time nocturnist to our team.

The role
