UNC HEALTH WAYNE IS HIRING A PER DIEM HOSPITALIST IN GOLDSBORO, NC

UNC Health Wayne is seeking BC/BE hospitalists to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC. This position involves delivering high-quality, team-based inpatient services. We offer a competitive compensation package and benefits including a quality bonus, CME, retirement plan, and malpractice coverage.

Goldsboro is located one hour east of Raleigh, the state capital, and 90 minutes from the NC coast. The area features great weather, a welcoming community, an energized downtown, and a low cost of living. It’s a mid-sized town with easy access to urban amenities, within a hospital system ranked among the top in the country, UNC Health.

Schedule: 7am-7pm (2 or more shifts per month)

UNC Wayne is a modern facility with 316 acute care beds and a history spanning over 120 years.

• 38 Emergency beds
• 4 Trauma beds
• 15-bed ICU
• 8-bed Labor and Delivery Unit
• 26-bed Nursery
• EMR: EPIC

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Medical School (MD or DO)
