Job summary

UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Experienced Hospitalist for a full-time role in the UNC Health system. The position features 12-hour shifts (7am–7pm) and will include coverage at UNC Holly Springs as needed.

Qualified candidates are Board Certified in Internal Medicine with Epic EMR experience; 1–2 years of hospitalist experience is preferred. North Carolina Medical License and related certifications are required.

Education Requirements

• Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

• Board Certified Internal Medicine

Professional Experience Requirements

• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements

• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

REASONING ABILITY

High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
