Hospitalist Physician Job with MyMichigan Health in Tawas City, MI

This position is based at MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas, seeking a motivated, confident, and energetic full-time hospitalist.

Schedule and Responsibilities
  • Days, 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm
  • Census up to 15 patients, plus rapid responses and new admits

This is an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible candidate to help grow our hospital medicine program, with strong support and collegiality from subspecialty services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical management of patients
  • Admissions orders and histories & physicals
  • Participate in rapid response team
  • Consultations and medical management of surgical patients
  • Manage general inpatient admissions
  • Perform procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, TDC, chest tubes, lines, and medports
Compensation and Benefits

Base salary with RVU-based incentive plan. Benefits include:
