• PRN Board Certified OBGYN MD/DO with 2 years experience.
• Credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board.
• Ability to perform cesarean deliveries and circumcisions.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a PRN Board Certified OBGYN MD/DO with 2 years experience for our new OB Hospitalist program.
The OB Hospitalist will be responsible for:

• Management of labor up to and including delivery, as requested by generalist physicians
• Urgent postpartum care as requested by the assigned physician
• No midwives or care for unassigned patients
• Caring for all unassigned patients who present to the OB Unit or Emergency Room
• Triage of all patients who present to the unit unless directly admitted
• When necessary perform cesarean deliveries
• Perform circumcisions
• Communicate with Maternal Fetal Medicine on consults & actions when requested
• Level IV hospital and nursery
• Level IV maternity center and NICU
• 24hr dedicated OB anesthesia
• Outpatient office hours as needed
• Rapidly growing suburban market with mostly private payer mix
• Location includes - Women's & Infants Hospital

Call Schedule: dedicated on-site call coverage with frequency and responsibilities as noted above
Projected 2000 deliveries/year.

Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s): Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date.
Education:
