Qualifications

• Strong inpatient clinical skills.
• Excellent clinical judgment.
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
• Hospital Medicine experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage hospitalized adult patients.
• Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and manage inpatient treatment plans.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions during hospitalization.
• Coordinate consultations with specialists.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Coordinate transitions of care and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Support safe, efficient and evidence-based inpatient care.
