Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens coverage in central California, near Salinas. The shifts include day and night coverage with a 60-day credentialing period, working with Meditech EMR.

The candidate must hold a California medical license and Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine, along with BLS, ACLS, and DEA. Competitive compensation is offered for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Active California state medical license is required.
• Board Certification in Family or Internal Medicine is required.
• BLS, ACLS and DEA certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitalist coverage per schedule (3 days 7am-5pm, 1 day 9am-7pm, 1 night 7pm-7am).
• Procedures required include central line insertion and intubation.
• Credentialing timeframe is 60 days.

This facility is seeking Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: 3 days shifts 7am-5p, 1 days shift 9am-7pm, 1 night shift 7p-7a
• Total census per provider per shift: 14-16 average
• Procedures required: Central Line Insertion and Intubation
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
• Support: Yes
• Certifications and license required: Active California state medical license, Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
• Credentialing timeframe: 60 days
