Tufts Medical Center in Boston seeks a Hospitalist Physician Assistant to join our inpatient team. The role focuses on supervising and delivering care under physician supervision, including evaluations, ordering tests, and developing treatment plans.

You will work closely with physicians and the care team to manage a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, with emphasis on high-quality patient care and wellness.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree.
• Completion of a Physician Assistant program.
• PA licensure within 3 months of application.
• NCCPA certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Controlled substances registration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive medical evaluations and order tests as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat acute/chronic conditions.
• Perform patient histories and physical examinations.
• Develop individualized care plans with supervising physicians.
• Prescribe medications and perform procedures within scope.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
