As a Hospitalist Physician, I provide comprehensive care to hospitalized patients, including performing various endoscopic procedures such as upper and lower GI endoscopies. My responsibilities include interpreting esophageal manometry and biopsies while ensuring compliance with licensure and certification requirements, including board certification and lifesaving certifications like BLS and ACLS. I work collaboratively with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes during hospital stays.

Skills :

• Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser
• Esophageal manometry interpretation
• Small Bowel biopsy
• Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)

Note : This role would not require many procedures unless the locum wanted to perform outpatient procedures
