Hospital in Southern Missouri Seeks Hospitalist

We are looking for a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to join our team of 10 at a 114-bed hospital. The team includes three day-shift hospitalists (7 am - 7 pm) and one nocturnist (7 pm - 7 am).

Our hospital covers a variety of beds, including OB and Neuro Psych units, but hospitalists primarily see patients in a 65-bed coverage area. ICU skills are essential, including vent management and central line placement, as our ICU is open and has 12 beds.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual salary based on MGMA median, with options for extra 12-hour shifts at $2,160 per shift.
2. $25,000 sign-on bonus.
3. Up to $10,000 relocation assistance.
4. Up to $4,500 for CME, professional licenses, dues, and journals.
5. Paid full benefits.
6. 403(b) retirement plan with up to 3% matching after one year.

Support and Resources

• ICU support from anesthesiologists and surgeons for consults and difficult cases.
• One pulmonologist available for critical pulmonary cases.
• 24-hour anesthesia coverage if needed.
• RT staff proficient in intubation; anesthesia backup available.

Workload and Visa Sponsorship

Average census per physician is 15-20 patients, with 10-15 admissions per 24 hours. J1 and H1B visa sponsorship are available for 2024.
