Job description

GHR is seeking experienced board-certified Internal Medicine Hospitalists for a long-term locum assignment. Join a well-established inpatient program committed to maintaining a manageable census and collaborative clinical environment.

Start : August or September 2025

Duration : 26-week assignment

Schedule : 7on / 7off | Day Shifts (7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM)

EMR : Sorian (Cerner-based)

• 1518 patients per provider / day (targeted census)
• Average 20 admissions per shift during peak season
• Closed ICU (managed by pulmonary / critical care team)
• Hospitalists respond to codes and rapid responses
• 4 providers on the floor, 1 assigned to ICU per day
• Supported by 6 APPs covering admissions (3x12s)

Requirements :

• MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Minimum 5 years of hospitalist experience required
• Active PA license or IMLC eligible
• Must have BLS, ACLS, DEA

About the Team :

• 11 full-time physicians (multiple retirements and transitions expected)
• 2 full-time and 1 part-time / per diem nocturnists
• Seeking stable core of full-time locum physicians for consistency
