The Hospitalist opportunity in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania :

• Duration : May 2018 to July 2018 with possibility to extend
• Schedule : 7 on, 7 off is preferred
• Shifts : Days 7a-7p, nights 7p-7a
• Description : These are traditional hospitalist positions involving medical management of patients, ensuring continuity and appropriate level of care for all inpatients and providing patients with appropriate instructions for outpatient follow-up. Hospitalists are also involved in teaching rounds with medical students and residents. The hospitalists play an integral role in medical staff affairs, quality committee and utilization. Strong support is provided from the clinical documentation specialists, care coordination and the quality departments.
• EMR : Meditech
• Responsible for supervising resident and NP
• 6 physicians in practice
• 18 ICU beds, 130 beds total
• Respond to inhouse codes : Yes

Requirements : Board Certified in Internal Medicine (can be Board Eligible if within 5 years of residency), PA medical license, BLS, ACLS
