A leading healthcare provider is seeking a GI Hospitalist for a one week on / one week off schedule. Responsibilities include managing inpatient consults, performing urgent procedures, and handling after-hours calls. Opportunities for academic appointments and collaboration with residents are available.
The Jefferson Northeast group offers comprehensive gastrointestinal healthcare services, including advanced diagnostics and endoscopic therapies. The practice promotes a patient-centric culture, a comprehensive approach to individualized patient care, and a positive work environment for physicians and staff.
The practice currently consists of five physicians practicing general and advanced gastroenterology, each with a special niche interest. We are hiring a GI Hospitalist who will work one week on / one week off twice per month. The physician's responsibilities include:
This position involves all inpatient work, with no participation in a coverage pool during the on week.
Opportunities exist to work with internal medicine residents and medical students, and to apply for an academic appointment at Sydney Kimmel College of Medicine.
Endoscopy centers are located at Grant Surgery Center in Northeast Philadelphia and Langhorne Surgery Center in Bucks County.
Office locations include the Grant Office in Northeast Philadelphia and Oxford Valley Mall Plaza in Langhorne.
Our state-of-the-art office and surgery center are under construction at Torresdale Campus, featuring 10 exam rooms and 3 endoscopy rooms, covering nearly 10,000 square feet.
The division is equipped with advanced technology, including 190 Olympus scopes.
