Job description

Central Minnesota community seeks a Hospitalist for their growing program. Schedule: Block schedule, primarily day shifts with a 1:8 week rotation to night shifts, seeing an average of 13 patients per day. The hospitalist runs codes; procedures are not required. Open to Family and Internal Medicine trained physicians.

Work Details: Hospital Employee, traditional schedule with a 1:10 call ratio. Salary details include $1,726.20 per 12-hour day shift and $2,237.40 per 12-hour night shift. Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off. Coverage includes Med/Surg & ICU, including ventilator management.

Department Details: Fully staffed with 9 hospitalists, currently 7 physicians in the department. Average inpatient volume: 12-13 encounters per day per hospitalist; average daily census: 50-60 patients. No procedures required; general surgery handles central lines.

Additional Incentives: $50,000 starting bonus, $10,000 relocation assistance, with earnings well in excess of $300,000 annually.
