AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Shawnee Mission, KS, seeks a hospitalist to join a close-knit team and provide high-quality patient care in a 504-bed community hospital. The role includes 7 on/7 off day shifts, with intensivist support and multispecialty collaboration.

Bring Better to the Bedside as a Hospitalist in Shawnee Mission, Kansas at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission as part of our growing team.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 20 physicians and 6 advanced practice clinicians with a clinical performance nurse at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.
• The 504-bed hospital is a closed ICU with intensivist support.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or Board-eligible in internal medicineor family medicine physicians.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• 7 on/ 7off day shift.
• We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists readily available in a large community-based hospital with multispecialty support.
• Work in coordination with an intensivist team that handles all procedures, allowing you to focus on patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Utilize Cerner with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
