Locums Hospitalist needed in Macon County, Illinois (could become permanent)

Requirements: BE / BC; IL license

Specialty: Hospitalist with Internal Medicine; Cannot accept Family Medicine physicians

Reason for opening: Vacancy, long-term coverage needed until vacancy is filled

EMR: Epic

Schedule:

Day shifts: 5:30 am - 5:30 pm (in the process of changing to 7 am - 7 pm soon)

Immediate coverage needed for the following dates:

• January 18th, 28th
• January 30th, February 4th
• February 7th - 11th
• February 13th - 18th
• February 21st - 28th

All are day shifts: 5:30 am - 5:30 pm.

• 10 hours in hospital, with a 2-hour window for callback
• Average patient census: 16 per hospitalist per 12-hour shift

Additional dates needed. Posting ongoing through June/July 2022, 1-2 weeks/month.

Privileges: Emergent privileges can be granted in 2-4 weeks.
