Job summary

Sound Physicians is hiring a hospitalist in Fresno, California to provide inpatient care, round and admit patients, and collaborate with a team at Community Regional Medical Center.

This position can be full-time or part-time and follows a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation with opportunities for moonlighting. ACLS is required; board certification/eligibility in internal medicine or family medicine is preferred. Epic EMR is used for charting and coordination.

Qualifications

• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives such as length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
• Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
• Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
• Utilize Epic EMR system.

Rewards and Compensation

• Annual compensation up to $315,000 - $385,000, based on the number and type of shifts worked. Eligible for additional productivity and quality bonuses.
• Moonlighting premium for additional shifts.
