Overview

JOB SPECIFICS

• Illinois Neurological Institute and OSF Little Company of Mary in Evergreen Park, Illinois, are seeking an inpatient, full-time Neurohospitalist to expand our team.
• Enjoy flexibility with a 7 on 7 off schedule.
• The role involves comprehensive management of adult neurology patients in an acute care setting, including making diagnostic and treatment decisions in the ED, assessing suitability for thrombolytic and/or endovascular stroke treatments, managing a range of inpatient neurologic conditions, and collaborating across multiple medical disciplines.
• No hospital call.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the neurology department and hospital for neurology-specific matters.

• Full-time, clinical base salary range for this position: $390,000–$443,362.
  Range is an estimate and may be influenced by factors such as experience, qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components like bonuses or incentives may apply, based on metrics or other criteria.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
• Licensed by the DEA and Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or eligible in relevant specialties. Maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
• Eligible to participate in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal programs.
• Meet all qualifications for OSF's malpractice and liability coverage programs.
