Job Requirements:

• Willing to work Nocturnist position.
• Successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) program.
• ABIM Certification.
• Active Texas Medical License and DEA.
• At least two (2) years of Hospitalist experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical histories of hospitalized patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging and labs, to make accurate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding conditions and treatments.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to documentation standards.
• Instruct patients on therapeutic regimens, home care, and health maintenance.
• Stay current with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols.
