Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locums tenens support in California. The role offers flexible shifts (7a-7p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a) with a high patient census per shift and EPIC EMR. Active CA medical license, DEA, board certification or eligibility, and BLS/ACLS are required.

Credentialing typically takes 60-90 days. AMN provides malpractice insurance arrangements and manages travel, lodging, and transportation for contractors.

Responsibilities

This facility is seeking a Hospitalist Physician for locums tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & support for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Various shifts available. 7a-7p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
• Total census per provider per shift: 284 (243 7AM census and 40 admits per day)
• Procedures required: Standard
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Support: Hospitalist will be responsible for Advanced Practitioner supervision
• Certifications and licenses required: Active California state medical license, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified or truly Board Eligible, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
