Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Leadership experience is preferred but not required with an appropriate background/experience.
• Min of 2 years practicing as a Hospitalist.
• Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas.

Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

• Days only, schedule is 7 on/off, (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.). You support cases remotely when on call, and it is rare to get calls after 7 p.m.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Cleburne (so areas such as Mansfield, Burleson, Arlington, etc).
• This is a 100% clinical position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate comprehensive medical care and post-operative care in a 106-bed facility, including an open ICU with 7 beds.
• Provide clinical oversight and foster a family-like environment within a blended, collaborative team.
• We measure outcomes with the AdventHealth dashboard, developed in collaboration with the Society of Hospital Medicine experts. O/E metrics are individualized to the patient based on documentation.
• Our program has achieved and sustained GMLOS O/E
• Leaders play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive working environment, ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes.
• Codes run by hospitalists and ED.
• Utilize EPIC EMR systems and Sound's internal informatics platform.

• Compensation:
  • This role requires calls for half the year; annual comp is $322k, including the blended rate for call/non-call shifts, and a $30k medical director's stipend, plus bonuses.
  • Extra night shifts and additional calls will increase your earning potential.
