Job summary

US Acute Care Solutions is seeking a Hospitalist Observation Medicine Medical Director at Northwest Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health in Maryland. You will lead observation medicine services, collaborate with hospital and nursing leadership, and shape provider staffing and quality initiatives.

You'll oversee day-to-day operations of the unit, participate in peer review and protocol development, and support clinicians while continuing to practice clinically as a senior leader within USACS.

Qualifications

• Board certification in IM/FM required.
• Minimum 3 years hospital-based patient care experience.
• Administrative experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the observation unit.
• Provide leadership in unit operations and staffing.
• Responsible for peer review, quality assurance, and provider staffing.
• Ensure quality patient experience by managing protocols and handling complaints.
• Continue clinical practice as a leader within USACS.
