Job summary

UVA Community Health is seeking an Inpatient Hospitalist NP or PA to join Culpeper Medical Center. This role operates within a 70-bed community hospital and uses EPIC EMR to coordinate care with a focus on efficient rounding and discharge processes.

The base compensation range is an hourly rate of $67.69-$86.65 for a 1.0 clinical FTE. Compensation will reflect experience and credentials, with additional incentives possible.

Responsibilities

• Rounding, admitting and discharging patients during daytime or evening shifts depending on preference
• Ordering tests, medications and treatments
• Communicating with patients, their families and their primary care physician on condition and care
• Consulting with additional specialists including: Inpatient Nurology, Urology, Podiatry, Hospice, GI, Cardiology and ID
• Average daily census is 8
• Ancillary services include: RT, Social Workers, MRI, CT and X Ray
• EMR: EPIC

The base compensation range for this role is an hourly rate of $67.69- $86.65 for a 1.0 clinical FTE status. Individual compensation will be determined by fair market value and the selected candidate’s qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training, credentials, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality, non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible positions.
