Job summary

University of Maryland Medical System in Towson, MD seeks an overnight hospitalist NP/PA to manage patient care on the hospitalist service. You will collaborate with nursing staff and the overnight nocturnist physician, participate in rapid responses, and document interventions in the medical record.

Effective communication with the overnight physician and incoming daytime providers is essential. The position requires graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program (required).
• Active Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (required).
• Active Maryland ACNP/AGACNP/PA License (required).
• Active, unrestricted CDS and DEA license (required).
• Current BLS certification (required).
• Current ACLS certification (preferred).
