Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for night shift coverage in Texas. The role runs 7p–7a (nocturnist) with 14 shifts per month available and five recommended, admitting 1–3 patients per night.

Candidate must hold an active Texas medical license, be board certified in Internal Medicine, and possess BLS, ACLS, and a valid DEA license. Credentialing typically completes in 90–120 days.

Qualifications

• Active Texas medical license is required.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Minimum 2 years of Hospitalist/acute care experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide night coverage from 7pm to 7am.
• Manage 1–3 night admissions per provider.
• Perform standard procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and specialists during night shifts.

This facility is seeking Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner pr Physician Assistant(NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:
