Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens support in Texas. Shifts are night 7p–7a with 14 shifts per month available and 5 recommended. Must hold active Texas license, be Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and have 2+ years of experience. EPIC EMR, ACLS, BLS, and DEA required. Credentialing typically takes 90–120 days.

Qualifications

• Active Texas state medical license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine must be held.
• BLS, ACLS and DEA certifications required.
• Night shift; 7p–7a schedule with nocturnist coverage.

Responsibilities

• Hospitalist NP/PA for locum tenens support.
• Nocturnist night coverage 7p–7a; 14 shifts/month with 5 recommended.
• Maintain standard procedures; census 1–3 admits per shift.
• Work with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Credentialing timeframe 90–120 days.
• On-site support provided by facility.
